The Future Mr & Mrs Miller!

Getting a call from Molly at 9pm on a Friday night is not normal... so I held my breathe and sure enough had fantastic news to share! These two beautiful people are engaged! We could not be more thrilled and cannot wait to celebrate you. Love you both!

Love/Hate Relationship

This is the most Zen hallway I have ever been in, has water features and everything. However this is the way to my physical therapist's office and there is absolutely nothing relaxing about my time there. Additionally a few very "unlady like things" shot out of my mouth today during our session. I surprised myself and the older gentleman on the table next to me. In my defense the PT was stretching me and it went from zero to literally thinking my leg was going to snap off right there at the knee. Warn a girl next time please!

Princesses & Powertools

Helping daddy put together some cubbies for her new closet. This was an "easy" update that makes a huge difference. Jim is now ready to do the coat closet as well, (the last one with wire racks).

Frozen Obsessed

Here is Anna & Elsa! These two are officially obsessed with all things Frozen. During the recent snow Addie "froze" everything and of course when it came time to ask her "Do You Want To Build A Snowman?" even I got excited.

THIS was from awhile ago and she knows the song much better now but enjoy a little performance of "Let It Go". I even know the words to every single song on the soundtrack because it is rare that anything else is being played when we are in my car together.

Rescheduled Valentines Day

The Valentine's Addie really did help me on. They also served as craft/entertainment during the snow days.

Instead of a classic candy filled party her preschool class talked about heart health and "ate the rainbow".

 (Even more impressive is that the kids really did eat most of their plates!)

 

Big Girl Room

We have a few new projects on our brains. The first being moving Addie into the bigger bedroom with the "real" furniture. She requested and has never wavered on the room being red which I am honoring but in limited amounts.

We will keep the white matelasse-esk duvet cover then turns out we had red shams from when we first got married still in the attic! Everything is in perfect shape, Pottery Barn still sells the shams and it was all the right price so the base was quickly set.

After much internet shopping and Pinterest board stalking I pulled the trigger on a lavender rug from One Kings Lane. I could not believe I ordered such a big item online but it was a great price and they do accept returns which was my mental safety net. An added bonus, it arrive just a few days later but what delivery man thought this  ----->
was the best place for it?!

Happy Hearts & Happy Bellies

Since we had been home-bound (thanks to the snow and my leg) most of the week, the day was not as filled with special treats like last year but we had a fun day! Highlight for everyone was easily the food though.
