Five Years!

We spent our actual anniversary running the Twilight 5k with friends Ryan & Ashley and her son Collin. This was dad & daughter's first race together. We made that last minute swap so I could kick it into gear. Thanks Jim for that push and Ryan for the pace - it would have been a PR and probably a 5th, possibly a 4th place in my division had I actually registered but it was worth it just for the kids to have medals. 

Afterwards we enjoyed a nice, quiet meal at home and the following night we hit the town, even staying uptown while Honey Gram and Addie had a slumber party at our house. Thanks mom!

You may not know this but the Traditional Wedding Anniversary Gift for five years is wood which seems perfectly fitting since we are doing the addition! (Our deck is back - sort of!)

I love you Jim and cannot wait to see how we grow and our lives continue to unfold together. Its been an amazing first five years and here's to another five!
